A HUGE thank you to Save The Pets for finding homes for all these pets. These photos are of just some of the animals that were helped by the members. I have never before witnessed such a wonderful, compassionate group of people right in front of my eyes. So many animals that I have met at the pound have touched my life and I will never forget them. Each adoption is a wonderful thing to witness- it shows someone being totally open to loving a stranger, and choosing to spend their life with them. Each time someone chooses to foster a dog, I get to see the compassion they have for the overlooked one who has run out of time. I feel like these are among the most beautiful things to see in this life. A lot of these dogs were rescued because they were at the pound the longest. I hope this page inspires people to form rescue groups.

These photos show that such adoptable pets get overlooked at shelters for long periods of time. And it is not their fault. A lot of them are simply unlucky. That is why foster homes are so important, to save their lives.
